iPhone 3G
This phone introduces GPS and 3G data. It had OS 2.0 loaded onto it. It also introduced the white and black iPhones. -
iPhone 4
The iPhone was now more boxy. At the time, it was the thinnest smartphone at the time. It was the first iPhone to have a front facing camera. -
iPhone 4s
This phone was the iPhone that introduced the AI called Siri. She can work out equations, search the web, or even your contacts. -
iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 revolutionized the iPhone. It was bigger, and sleeker looking than any other iPhone before. It would kick start a new series of more futuristic pones. Later on, the iPhone would have a new IOS which gave a completely new look to the display. -
iPhone 5s and 5c
The iPhone 5s added a new colour to the iPhone 5 series which was gold. The iPhone 5s had a Slow Mo camera, and Touch ID. Touch ID is a fingerprint sensor where on the home button. The iPhone 5c was a completely new design. For a start, it was made out of plastic in five different colours. The colours were blue, white, pink, green, and yellow. There was no Touch ID or Slow Mo camera, but otherwise, it was an iPhone 5s in plastic, -
iPhone 6 and 6 plus
The iPhone 6 and 6 plus, have yet again completely been redesigned. They are much slimmer, and slightly larger than their predecessors. The iPhone 6 plus even much more so, as it is the bigger version of the iPhone 6. -
iPhone 6s and 6s plus
The iPhone 6s was not massively different than the iPhone 6. The only massive difference is the addition of 3D Touch. 3D Touch is a feature where, if you press the screen harder, more options appear to what you want to select. -
iPhone 3GS
In the name, the "S" stands for speed. It was faster than it's predecessor. -
iPhone 7 and 7 plus
The iPhone 7 is almost identical to the iPhone 6s but there are some changes. Apple have added a new colour, and made it available in glossy, and matte. A more controversial change was the removal of the headphone jack, and releasing their new Bluetooth Air Pods. The camera is now more light, adaptive, and has more ability in darker spaces. The release of IOS 10 was also announced with it which is the brand new operating system for iPhones.
