The first iPhone was released on 29 June, 2007. It started as a side project in 2005, where Steve Jobs came up with the idea of using a a multi-touch touchscreen to communicate with a computer in a way in which people could type directly onto the display, so that there was no physical keyboard and mouse. -

iPhone 3G
The iPhone 3G was first released on July 11, 2008.It was the second generation of the iPhone. It was very similar to the iPhone, except it came with new features, such as GPS and 3G data. It came in two options of Storage, 8 or 16 GB. It was also slightly larger than the original iPhone. -
iPhone 3GS
The iPhone 3GS was the 3rd generation of the iPhone. It had more features than the first iPhone, such as a 3-megapixel camera with higher resolution, video ability and voice control. -
iPhone 4
The iPhone 4 was released on June 24, 2010. It was the first iPhone to include a front-facing camera. It also had a white version of the iPhone 4, which was released that same year. -
iPhone 4S
The iPhone 4S was released on October 14, 2011. It was very similar to the iPhone 4, except they introduced a new camera, and the beginning of Siri. -
iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 was released on September 12, 2012. It was the 6th generation of the iPhone. It was very different from its predecessor. The iPhone 5 can play music, movies, television shows, ebooks, audiobooks, and podcasts and can sort its media library by songs, artists, albums, videos, playlists, genres, composers, podcasts, and compilations. It can also act as a hotpots, sharing its internet connection over Wifi, Bluetooth or USB.
