Dad gets new job
The new job has my dad traveling for 5 days of the week and with lots of time to himself after work he starts to drink a lot with his co-workers.

Parents seperate
Parents seperate for 2-3 months, but due to strain on us kids my mom decides to move us back in. Things go back to normal. -
President Jimmy Carter elected
U.S. President Jimmy Carter defeats President ford and is put in office. -
My last older sister get married and move away
Me being the youngest still in 9th grade my sister 3 years older then me gets married and moves to another part of town. Leaving only my mom and I at home for 5 of the 7 days. -
Parents get seperated again
Now that only one kid is still living with them they seperate -
Ronald Reagan is elected
President Ronald Reagan is elected into office and becomes the face of America through the 80's. -
Parents get divorced
After 24 years of marriage my parents sign the divorce papers and I only visit my dad once or twice a year. -
Mom gets remarried
My mom gets remarried and we move onto my step dads farm.

Due to a lifetime of drinking, my dad developes prostate cancer.
