The war ended with Germany being forced into a corner and forced to sign the treaty of Versailles, which was a very one sided treaty in favor of the Triple Entente, involving Britain, France, Soviet Union. the treaty involved Germany giving up much of their land to their surrounding countries and new countries being formed as British colonies from the remains of Germanys land borders. Even Austria-Hungary was split in parts becoming Austria and Hungary separately. -
End of WW1 pt .2
Many new countries were created out of this and some of these countries are, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq etc. This left the Germans Seething under the skin as their once patriotic thriving country became little more than dirt to their surrounding countries as they were forced to give away land and their people as consequence. -

the treaty was signed on the 28th of June 1919 at the palace of Versailles in France, 10 minuets from Paris. the Major implications of the treaty were things involving Germanys Military, with restrictions in place preventing Germany from having any kind of air force. New land borders and new countries including Austria-Hungary being split into Austria and Hungary separately, and Germany losing much of their land to new countries such as Poland or Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia and a few others -

In america, during the 'roaring twenties' as the period is now known by, the nations wealth was almost doubled
