    In the textile Industry, inventor James Hargreaves made The Spinning Jenny. The inventions purpose was to spin cotton. It worked in a way that it would spin when the wheel was turned, when the wheel was employed the cleaned wool was carded and then twisted loosely.

    In 1769 James Watt improved the original steam engine design releasing it wastes a lot of steam. This year he also received a patent for his own design and it was widely used by society.

    In the 1770s, Richard Arkwright made use of James Watts steam engine and used it for the full manufacturing of yarn. Richard Arkwright was later known as the father of modern industrial factory systems. It worked by opening raw cotton bales and cleaning the cotton. Then the cotton was drawn into roving where it was spun.

    In the middle of the decade, Edmund Cartwright invented the Power loom. It's main purpose was to mechanize the loom with the use of a shaft making the manufacturing process quicker than by hand.

    In the early 1790s a man by the name of Samuel Slater invented the cotton mill. It would work by using a water powered piece of machinery to card and spin the cotton. The cottons fibers were drawn out, twisted, wounded then eventually yarn was created.

    The first motor was invented by Thomas Davenport of Vermont. Although this was the first actual motor, designs date back to the 1740s. Thomas Davenport was a blacksmith, he was born on the 9th of July 1802 and died 6th of July 1852.
    An electric motor works in a way so it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. His invention was first used to power a small printing press. Motors are still used to this day

    The man that goes by the name of Edwin Drake completed the first ever drilling of the very first oil well that was actually productive in the united states. It worked by using water based and a steam driven rotary drill to drill down into Pennsylvania where the first oil deposits were found.

It worked by passing electricity through a filament in a piece of glass.

    This invention revolutionized the way humans would travel forever.

These inventions are still used today and changed the way wars have been fought for the years ahead. The machine guns worked in a mechanical way by using springs and bolts whenever the trigger was held.
