A day for the Indigenous to mourn their loss after the first fleet invaded their land -
Indigenous Australians are given the right to vote in federal elections.
Indigenous were given the right to enrol in voting, however enrolment was not compulsory. Although they were given the right to enrol, it was illegal however to encourage the indigenous to vote. -
