The Muslim League in Dacca is founded. This event is significant because it emphasises the idea of Indian Independence and contributes to it. The Indians participation in the government was underestimated, and they were demanded to work with the Muslims. -

Gandhi's letter explained that civil rights for the Indians's are needed in order for them to rest content. He believed this could be achieved by providing them with education of European opinion. The India Act was inacted by the King. This act controls the government and ensures that it runs smoothly. This act can help India and England become independent by allowing these counties to learn how to complete government tasks by themselves.
