Adult orr child eats a type of food or substance they are allergic to and thats causes an allergic reaction for the first time -

after that person eats the food, the body will then create an antibody/protien that finds other harmful substances. -
Step 3
the antibody attaches itselft to cells found in tissues throughout the body and it will prepare the body for if/when that allergen enters the body again -
Step 4
After entering again, it binds to the antibodies and sends out signals to release large amounds of histamine. -
Step 5
The histamine will then cause irritation and swelling in differnet parts of your body. -
Step 6
Irritation varies among people (mild hives, shortness of breath, anaphylaxis).
