On a Ship to the U.S.
I am going on a ship to the U.S. yearning for new life, even though my sad life back home is gone I now how a change for a new life! When I got here I ran for my land and claimed exactly what I wanted, and deserved. -
Road to America
Two of the main reasons I actually found interest in America is the freedom of being you! Also why I left because of this exact opposite reason, no freedom and very harsh strict rules not fit for living. -
Religon
Religon, because I am very religous and have very strict religish worships at my home town and harsh ways of living. I wanted to be free of what I can worship so I immigrated for the freedom of religon. -
Tomato
The reason I said tomato was because one of the most treasured crops (tomato) was poisned and growing bad. So I came to America were these exact same crops were blooming everywhere bueatifully without any harm to them. -
Railroad
These old railroads were my saving grace coming to America, I got to make enough money to pay my rent and eat everyday. Back in Germany I had little to no wage a day to were I was suffering badly. So now my income has been increased coming to America. -
More Work
When I came to the U.S. I worked at two jobs for good income everyday, sure I got tired but my wallet didn't. I started working at a meat factory with a decent amount of income but with my two jobs combined I was becoming very wealthy. This job helped me even more with daily needs and gave me extra money to spend on myself, I have never had anything like that ever!
