  • My first time in America

    My first time in America
I came to America with my two sons and my husband is back in China. When we heard about this job my two sons decided to start working for the Central Railroad Company, helping create the transcontinental Railroad.
  • Naturalization Act

    Naturalization Act
It has been six years since we have moved to America and already it has become hard for us to earn money plus now that they have said yes to Naturalization Act now we have to wait to get our rights and become a citizen.
  • China signed treaty with the US

China signed treaty with the US
When I heard that China had signed a treaty with the US to only allow a certain number of Chinese into the country became furious but at the same time I was sad because my husband was supposed to come to America and was not allowed because of this treaty.
  • Chinese Exclusion Act

    Chinese Exclusion Act
For ten long years we have to work our butts off with low pay and wait until the act is over. I don’t understand what did we do to deserve this? We work our buts of build a railroad for them and then they decide to make it harder on us by making The Chinese Exclusion Act, which means that we can’t become naturalized US citizens.
  • Geary Act

    Geary Act
First it’s the Chinese Exclusion Act and now it’s the Geary Act making the Chinese Exclusion Act extend another ten years. Well this is just great another act to deal with just what we need.
  • Chinese exclusion Act Indefinite

    Chinese exclusion Act Indefinite
Is this really necessary? We work our butts off and we do it for such a low pay. So what theirs a lot of us Chinese people but that doesn’t mean you have to do this. You took 250 Chinese people without even making sure that they had snuck into the country and made them go back to our country. Why not just make them pay a fine or something like that.
