Ireland Fiasco
My rent wasn't paid to the landlords. Last night they burned my house and robbed my potatoes, untouched and ready to be farmed. My sister starved to death a week later. I was annoyed and left for America the first chance I could -
Boat to America
Against my better judgment I boarded a ship as a stowaway. I was caught halfway through the voyage when I stole some food. I was going to be sent back on the next ship to Ireland. I met a girl when I was detained who had to tickets but wasn't traveling with a guy. She offered me a ticket if I traveled with her and I accepted the ticket. I showed the ticket to the people who caught me and they let me go. So far the journey to America was rough, and I wasn't even there yet! -
Job
The mysterious woman that saved me from going back to Ireland and I parted ways whhen we got to Ireland. It was hard to find a job with all these signs that say "No Irish Need Apply." Once I found a job, life got a lot easier and I could support myself easily. I completely forgot about going west because I am perfectly content with this standard of living and am planning on living the rest of my life here. -
Enemies
While shopping at the market, I angered a gang by beating up there leader when he tried to mug me. I started to worry because people who messed with this gang tended to disappear. I am planning on moving west to escape an unfortunate depart -
Journey West
I finally have bought all of the supplies to move west. I started to hesitate but then I saw the sign that got me think about coming to America in the first place! The gang is starting to threaten me so I started my journey west. I took nothing but the clothes on my back and my leftover money, which isn't much. On the journey I hitched a ride as a train stowaway, but this time I was extra careful not to get caught! -
Oklahoma
I ave made it to Oklahoma. I have set up a house near a stream with plenty of land to farm. I had forgotton my real reason for coming to America until after this journey! I am going to miss Ireland, but America is all I could hope for and more! -
