National Reclamation Act

Hepburn Act

This helped keep bad, soiled, of any kind of mess-up meat from being sold to protect consumers. (Consumer) -

Federal Trade Commission Act
This act helped with "trust-busting" in businesses and get rid of trading practices that were unfair. (Monopolies and Business Excess) -
Clayton Anti-Trust Act
This act tries to create an anti-competitive atmosphere between businesses. (Monopolies and Business Excess) -
National Park Service
This is a service that is in charge of national parks, monuments, and other things with historical value. (Conservation) -
Keating-Owen Cild Labor Act
This prohibited any products made by employers of children under 16 from beind sold in interstate commerce. (Labor Problems) -
Bunting v. Oregon
This was held to determine whether a law that gave ten hour work days and regulated women's hours was Constitutional. The court ruled that it was, indeed, Constitutional. (Labor Problems) -
Hammer v. Dagenhart
This was a case that tried to decide whether or not Congress had any power over Child Labor and it's laws. The verdict was that ti did not. (Labor Problems) -
18th Amendment
The eighteenth amendment established the prohibition of making, selling, and transporting alcohol. (Consumer) -
19th Amendment
The nineteenth amendment states that no one can be denied the right to vote based on gender and granted women suffrage. (Women's Rights)
