There will be a realignment of the two programmes with the DP for consistency. For example, the assessment method and policy of the MYP will be alignment to what DP currently has in 2019. The PYP also needs some sort of assessment, even just for the last year.

More schools will be interested to offer the IB because of the the rigorous coursework that it is well known for.

The DP programme is very stable and promising as of this year (2019). In fact, it is known as a college preparatory programme. A lot of universities allow students to move to advanced levels when the students can present their IB Diploma. They can skip certain subjects in the university for the course they want to take. So, why not offer undergraduate degrees to continue the legacy?

First, there was STEM; then, the STEAM. Who knows what acronym may come next? The point is, the world is changing and so the IB programmes should go with the flow to continuously become competitive in the field of education.

Majority of the schools that adapt the IB pogrammes are privately owned or owned by international associations. I would like to see public schools that are run by the local governments to see the benefits of IB programmes to the local students. That finances should not be an issue for public students to take IB.

This way, students who move from place to place will always feel home. There will be no adjustments and reorientations because the system is the same all over the world. (This might be very challenging to achieve, though! There are a lot of factors to consider before every country considers this to happen.)
