The human baby takes about forty weeks to develop in the womb. By the end of eight weeks, all the tissues and organs are formed. The embryo is three cm long and weighs only four grams. -
Childbirth
Just before the baby is born the bag of amniotic fluid around it bursts . This is called the breaking of the waters . Contractions of the uterus forte the baby out. After the baby is born, the umbilical cord is clamped and then cut.
