My knowledge beggins before I was born.
I began to learn both languages in my mom's belly. English and Spanish -

At this age I move from U.S.A. to P.R. It was here that my native language got stronger, and my English was disapearing. -
First day of school.
At the age of seven i was enrolled at school. I began to learn English at school. -
Continue to develop my English.
As years went by my English was evident, but the domains were strong and my native language was superior. Still I kept on studying. -
Acquiring more knowledge.
As a young man i listen to music in English, watch movies and move to places that the English language was present. -
Took my GED.
After droping out of highschool, iI was able to take my GED; my English helped me a lot. -
Working in an English environment.
My English grew stronger as I beggin to work at places where the language was 100% present. My comunication was limited, but progressing. -
Back to school.
I decide to accept the challenge of studying education. My concentration was in English. At this time I was able to speak fluently and have normal conversation with peers. -
Graduated with honors.
Finally graduated with honors. The language acquisition was evident. I was able to stand in front of the classroom and talk about certain topics for long periods of time. My native language was not affected and was able to codeswitch. -
Im a good teacher.
Today Im a teacher. My language is strong, but the domains are week. I work in an environment where English is not strong. Still I speak English to the students, but my strong language is still Spanish.
