How did you use Media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Timetoast
I used timetoast to schedule my tasks throughout the year. It helped me organise my work. It was very easy to use and straight forward piece of technology which I also used last year. -

Blogger
I have used blogger to upload my tasks regularly and update my progress throughout the course work. It allows me to embed all the technologies I use. I had previous knowledge of blogger from last year so I could use it much easier and this allowed me to update more posts this year in comparion to last. -
Prezi
I used prezi for my treatment where my group and I updated it from the original treatment and put more detail into it. It helped me embed our chosen track in an interactive way which is easy to use. -
WhatsApp
I used whatsapp with my group for our group meetings. We took screenshots and uploaded it to our blog. It helped us discuss our plans for our music video in private. -
YouTube
I used YouTube to upload the video of my group and I having an induction with the DSLR cameras. We looked back on this on many occassions when filming our music video and it helped us gain knowledge on how to use the camera properly when it comes to taking photos as well. -

Photography
For our photography we used DSLR camera's to tak images for our CD cover and adverts. I used the same cameras last year, therefore I was able to use the camera efficiantley, However we still were given an induction which helped us to further our knowledge with the camera's and lighting of the studio. We found this very helpful and applied our new knowledge to our photoshoot, resulting in professional photographs for our Digi-Packs. -

Final Cut Pro
I used final cut pro alongside my group members when editing our music video. It was my first time using an editing software for moving images so it took me some time to get used to it but when I did, I started to use tools like Cross fading and the wiping effect in the beginning and end of our music video. this allows it to look professional and like a real music video. I learned how to change the images to black and white and also do a slow motion effect. This helped us to develop more. -
Moodle
I used Moodle to get the outline for the equipment booking form.This was much easier to find than on Google as there was only one equipment form template to choose from on Moodle and this saved me time. -
YouTube
I used youtube to upload the video of our rough cut screening then embeded it into prezi and blogger to evaluate the feedback that we got. -
YouTube
I used YouTube to upload my music video. It was very easy to upload and it allows me to embed my video on to the other technologies that I use like Prezi, Blogger etc. -
Google Images
I used google images to search up different covers of real CD's. This is where i got inspiration for my case studies and started to figure out what I wanted my own CD cover to look like. I find it really easy to navigate around google as I use it all the time to search things. -
prezi
I used prezi for my CD and Digipack case studies. It allowed me to make my case studies more interactive and was easy to link and embed my pictures for my case studies like the cd covers and posters for the adverts. -

Photoshop
I used Photoshop to construct my digipack and print products for my covers. I found it much easier to use this year as I used it last year for my magazine cover. This year I enhanced my skills by manipulating images and fonts by adding drop shaddows and changing the saturation of images. This helped me to develop my work further and make my products look more professional. -
Illustraitor
I used Adobe Illustraitor to manipulate the letter "B" on the front cover of the CD. I used illustraitor last year when manipulating my front cover of the magazine therefore I found it easy. It helped me improve my skills and make my groups print products look unique and professional. -
Prezi
I used prezi to evaluate my question 1 and 3, It is very easy to embed my music video and compare and contrast feedback that I have received from peers. It allows me to embed pictures and linkiton to my blogger as well. Last year I used prezi for my evaluation as well which allowed me to use it more effeciantly this year. -
Timetoast
I have used time toast for my 4th question as it allows me to show a timespan of the technologies I have used through out the course. I have also used this last year for my schedule which allowed me to be more organised. -
slideshare
I have used Slideshare to evaluate my question 2 as it allows me to show my print products and compare them effectively. It is very easy to use as I used it to evaluate my course work last year as well, However I found it much easier this year as I am more experienced with the technology now.
