The ship "St Louis" sailed to Cuba from Germany with a high number of Jewish passengers. Unbeknownst to them Cuba had revoked their landing certificates. After the U.S. denied the ship permission to enter, the ship sailed back to Europe and around 250 refugees were killed in the Holocaust. -
Mobile Killing Squads
Units sent by the Nazi party were given the job to commit mass murders of Jews, Roma, and Communist government
officials. They were responsible for a quarter of all Jew deaths in the Holocaust. -
