What Are Concentration Camps?
Concentration camps are camps for political prisoners and members of national or minority groups who are confined for punishment. In this case, concentration camps for the jews were unnecessary. they go punished because they weren't liked by Germans. -
A man who started it all
Adolf Hitler a German chancellor and his Nazis quickly became a regime in which citizens had no guaranteed basic rights. The Nazi rise to power brought an end to the Weimar Republic. They were after the jews. -
Why were the Nazi just after the Jews?
The Nazis targeted the Jews because they strictly hated them and were against them and didn't want anything to do want them. Hitler and the Nazis were very antisemitic. So since they hated the Jews so much they decided to make something called "Concentration camps for Jews only". -
The Holocaust
The Holocaust took place in the broader context of World War II. On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland. Over the next year, Nazi Germany and its allies conquered much of Europe. German officials confiscated Jewish property, in many places required Jews to wear identifying armbands, and established ghettos and forced-labor camps. -
What Did The Jews Have Done To Them At The Camp?
A lot of Jews were killed for no reason they would get hanged, spit on treated like pets (etc). Nazi Germany also intensified its pursuit of the “Final Solution.” These years saw systematic deportations of millions of Jews to increasingly efficient killing centers using poison gas. Hitler had no intention of taking care of these Jews he didn't feed them at all all he did was torture them. -
Alot Of Jews Died!
A lot of jews had died from starvation and the lack of hygiene and other sad things like burned, hanged. the Germans and their troops had murdered six million Jews. When Allied troops entered the concentration camps, they discovered piles of corpses, bones, and human ashes ( Nazi mass murder). Only six thousand Jews survived. -
What happened to the ones who survived?
The survivors are in the middle of rebuilding their lives. With few possibilities for emigration, tens of thousands of homeless Holocaust survivors were housed in displaced persons (DP) camps. -
What happened to hitler?
Hitler soon died because he had committed suicide because he was being hunted by Soviet troops storming Berlin. (I think it was Karma).
