A 2 lb pound of bread would cost 2.37 marks, then it went to 3.90 marks a year later. in 1922 it is 163.15 but in December 1923 its 399 billion marks.

    Hitler attempts to over throw the German government. Some one warned them though and there were guards. Since there were guards there were guns. The people were rounded up and arrested. They committed treason and went to jail. Hitler then went on trial but he did not get killed.

People still died there though. Dachau was the first concentration camp. The enabling act happened there at that time too.

    Hitler became chancellor in January 1933. He started rising to the top. He got rid of all his rivals that were in the Nazis. Hitler's rising stance forced Hindenburg to give him some power. Hindenburg didn't trust Adolf at all. He gave him Chancellor so the voters who voted for him would not be mad. He gave him a job that could not be enough of deadly.

    They started to make ways to identify Jews so they could attack them. If your ancestry had any Jewish in it then you are considered Jewish yourself. That means you will be targeted more. They take away the citizen ship of Jews. Jews were not allowed to fly the national flag and also they had to marry Jews only. You could go to jail for waving a Germany flag.

    Germany moved to Austria and Germany annexes CZECHOSLOVAKIA. They basically did what they wanted. To avoid conflict the other countries let them do it. They then built up their Military. They then invaded Austria and Austria could not do much about it. Appeasement happened.

    The first "Death Camp" opens in Central Poland. Vans with small gas chambers in the rear are used. People would gas people in shacks. They realized using cars gas was expensive on gas so they got Zyklon B. It was tested at Auschwitz-Birkenau camp. 1 million [out of 11 million] people died at that camp because of that gas. This was effective because with in a minute people passed out and in two the people would die. This was effective because the murderers would not feel the same guilt.
