The Germans began to stamp the passports of the Jews in the country with the letter "J" to symbolize that they are Jews. -

The beginning of the inquest by Hitler to kill all of the Jews in Nazi Germany was Kristallnacht. This an event where Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, schools and businesses and killed close to 100 Jews. -

This was seen as the end of the Holocaust and all Jews were freed and rescued from the Nazi Concentration Camps after Hitler killed himself in a bunker. -

The official end of World War II also marked the official end of the Holocaust. Germany officially surrendered to the Allied Powers on May 7th, 1945 following the suicide of military dictator Adolf Hitler.
