Enabling Act
This act enabled the government to pass any law and write any degree. They could almost do any act they wanted to. It could even allow the government to go against the constatution. This act made Hitler and The Nazis never worried about the citizens of Germany again. -
Jewish Boycott
Hitler called for a boycott. He said to control and give an outlet on the the acts of anti-Semitisum throughout the country.The Nazis were resoponsable for the atrocity propaganda.Many people in Germany knew about this boycott because of how well the propaganda was placed. Two SS men, the ones in the black uniforms and two Stormtroopers stood infront of every jewish owned shop. -
Aryan Law (Civil Service=Government Jobs)
Aryans were citizens of Germany that were not Jewish. Like the black americans in America the Jews were segarated from all of Germany. All of the Aryan areas were different from the Jewish areas, The Jews werent allowed in any of these areas or they were punished. For example a Jewish doctor gave his blood to a Aryan person to survive & he was even pubnished for that because that was against the law to get blood from a Jew if you were not a Jew. -
Berlin Book Burning
The Nazi fever spreaded on May 1st. Berlin University students put on an act against the Un- German spirit. They burnt all the books that were written by Jews & were about Jews. They threw all the books into a bonfire & burnt 70,000 tons of books before they were done Many of the laws were carried out & the germans believed it was all a fact. -
Nuremberg Laws
The first law was the Protection Law. This was to banned Jewish and non jewish marrages. Basically jews and non-jews can not interact. The Nazis would put signs up and they would say Aryans only. All these law are to make Jews lives awful. -
Jewish name change
HItler and the Nazis wanted to be able to reconized jews more easily. There for they past a law where if you were a Jew and your name wasn't a very jewish name, then you would have to add a jewish name to the end of your name, just so people can spot you out and realise that you were a Jew. -
The Night of Broken Glass
The Night of Broken Glass was the first Physical attack on the Jews. On this night the Nazis walked around and found shops that were owned by jewish people and they would basically vandalize the whole store and they would break all of there outside windows -
Jewish Star Requirement
In German they wanted to tlel a jew from a non-jew as they were walking down the street. So they could Physicaly see it, they made Jewish people sew a Jewish Start to every artical of clothing they had. This was known around the world as "the mark of shame"
