Columbus lands in the Carribean
Columbus tried to go to Asia but ended up in the Carribean islands. He found new land so that people could colonize it. -
Jamestown founded
The settlers made it to the new world and made a settlement. This was one of the first colonies and it was a place for opportunity since no one knew what was there. -

The pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to start a colony. The Pilgrims knew how to survive better then the colonists and made a sustainable colony. -

The Boston Tea party was when the Sons of Liberty organized a protest where the Colonists dressed at natives to steal tea. They were protesting about how they weren't represented and this made the East India company lose a fortune. -

The war of 1812 was fought between Britain and the US because of impressment. No one won the war after 2 years so a treaty was signed and their relationship was improved.
