Foundation
The 5th of September 1882, Hotspur Football Club was formed by the students of an Anglican school. In 1884 the club was renamed Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. -

North London Derby
In 1887, the Spurs had their first match against Arsenal, which would be his main rival in the North London derby. A year later they would move to Northumberland Park. -
