15th Amendment
States that you are allowed to vote, reguardless of color. Ratified in 1870. -
Sherman Anti-Trust Act
Federal law was passed in the U.S.. Broke up corporate trusts, or combinations of businesses. -
Forest Reserve Act
Congress passed the Forest Reserve Act. The act set aside public forests, so there would be lumber in the future. -
Carey Act
Grants one million acres of land to desert like areas. One condition is, they have to reclaim the land and sell it to settlers. -
14 Points
Around 1910, the 14 points were created by Woodrow Wilson. These were created to prevent another WW1 from occuring. -
18th Amendment
Prohibits the sale and manufacturing of alcohol in America. Many people agreed with the law at first, but after a while people started to drink illegally. Raised crime rate. -
19th Amendment
Women are given the right to vote! Men and other voters must deal with the large increases of new voters.
