    The year that the Magna Carta is signed by King John of England. It reduced the power of a King's grip over his kingdom.

    It was a shooting of five colonists by British militants. It was a result of high tensions of the British arriving in Massachusettes.

  • Boston Tea Party

    In Boston, a group of colonists threw taxed tea into the Boston Harbor. It was an action of resistance against the Tea Act.

    A convention of delegates from the 13 colonies, this was called forth due to the Intolerable Acts. This later became known as the Congress of the Confederation due to the ratification of the Articles of Confederation.
