Dependency is created
A pay plan between Germany and the United States was set up. This created a stable economy in Germany and many other countries, as the U.S. was giving out loans. A torch light vigil
Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi party, was given the role of chancellor. A tortch light vigil followed. the Nazis than formed a secret police force which rounded up opposing political leaders, sent many people to concentration camps, and forced ten year old boys to join the Nazis. After the communists stopped meeting however these self vigilianties became violent, with no meetings to stop they often times got drunk and harrased Germans in the street. (brownshirts) -
Riechstag fire
The fire of the Riechstag building. A retarted boy from the netherlands who claimed to be a communist was blamed for the fire along with many other communists. The Great Depression leave Germans jobless and hungry

The automobile and Hitler
Hitler took an avid intrest in the automobile and believed every German household should have one. Hitler planed to make the Volkswagen, "the people's car." He enlisted German's top companies to build it but his idea fell short when he converted the car factory to a militiary weapons plant. -
Art: a political device
In 1937, the government of Nazi Germany held two bizarre art exhibits in Munich. One consited of 700 or more paintings and sculptures crammed into nine small rooms. The Nazi's would scrawl derogatory insults on the wall next to the art. The first art exhibit was meant to portray art that would be accepted under Hitler's reign. The second art that would be censored.
