    Battle of Fallen Timbers
    William Clark serves as a lieutenant leading a group of rifleman to victory. This battle was the final battle of the Northwest Indian war resulting in the victory of the Americans. William Clark became well known after this war.
  • Louisiana Purchase

    Thomas Jefferson purchases land west open for discovery. This land is from France who needed money for a war. Jefferson didn't plan to buy this much land, just New Orleans Port but came out with a massive land expansion.
  • Recruiting for Expedition

    Recruiting for Expedition
    Thomas Jefferson picks Meriwether Lewis as the commander of a new expedition in to the newly purchased land west. Lewis picks Clark as his partner in the journey.
  • Starting Expedition

    Lewis picks up Clark in a keelboat and start heading west on the Ohio River. They prepared all their resources to get ready.
  • Coast

    The group makes it to the Oregon coast and Clark journals the experience. They then build Fort Clatsop by the water.
  • Going Separate Ways

    Lewis and Clark split up to cover more land. Clark takes a group to the Yellowstone River. There he names a rock structure Pompy's Tower. Baby Pomp was known as Sacagawea's baby tso represent her efforts to the expedition.
  • Native American Encounter

    Clark encounters Sioux Native Americans. After hours of the natives not letting Clark and his group cross, Clark uses his leadership to get past the natives and escape safely.
  • Return

    Lewis and Clark return to Saint Lewis and soon Washington D.C. They share their observations from the journey to Jefferson. They received double pay, 1600 acres of land and Clark is appointed as General for Louisiana territory and Federal Indian Agent.
  • Death

    Clark dies of natural causes and is remembered as one of the countries greatest explorers.
