    With the creation of the nes sega decided to step up there game. They decided to also make a console. it was called the Mark 3. You could play at home.

    The success of the odyssey console inspired companies like nintendo to create there own. The nes was created. The nes is a 8 bit gaming console that can be plugged into a tv and be played at your home.

    With home consoles becoming more and more popular arcades gradually became less and less. This led to the arcade golden age ending.

    First person shooter game was unheard of until the creation of doom. The creation of doom is very significant it started a fps craze. It is considered one of the greatest games of all time

    Nintendo released the nintendo 64. The very first 64bit console. It was revolutionary. This console introduced many nintendo classics and many other new games.

    With the creation of the nintendo 64 sega decided they had to come up with somehting never seen before. They created the dreamcast console. The first ever console to have online play. Unfortenulty it did not do well nobody played it and nintendo cam out on top.

    Sony and other companies where recognizing the success of gaming consoles. Sony decided to create the playstation 2. This console had online gaming and single player gaming. This console changed gaming forever.
