Arrival of pilgrims to New World
The pilgrims saw a good place and decided to build a village there.They called the village Plymouth. -
First meeting with the Natives.
The Native Americans introduced them to their tribe.
They taught the pilgrims how to grow corn, beans and pumpkins. -
Expansion of the British.
By the 1750s, the british had 13 colonies on the east coast of North America. -

Battle of the Frenchs and colonists.
The British won the battle but then the governement asked for taxes and the colonies decided to join together to fight the British. -
Independence of colonies
The colonies declared independence from Great Britain. They are lidered by George Washington. -
Treaty of Paris
In the end of the war George Washington signed the Teatry of Paris. -
Expansion and the Civil War.
The French Emperor Napoleon offered to sell the land to the United States for $15 million and Thomas Jefferson accept the offer. -
First Indian territory.
The US governement created the first Indian territory in the area now called Oklahoma. -
Abraham Lincoln is now the president of the U.S.A.
He wants to end the slavery. The people in the south want to leave in the Union and have their own nation. -

The south has got their Confederacy. It´s got 11 states now.The war started. -
The War is terrible.
Thousands of people are dead.The war can´t continue for long because the confederates are losing. -
The end of the war
The Confederate army leader, surrendered to General Ulysses.
More than 600.000 Americans are dead.
