    The internet was created by the US Department of defense during the 1960's. It was made as a way to communicate between computers should a nuclear attack take out the phone grid.

  • 1st major step

    During the 1960's computers became more standard and smaller. This was a big improvement which made it easier for people to type. The smaller screen also made the image on the screen clearer.

  • 2nd Major Step

    The first online network was established in 1969. This network was called ARPANET, and was formed by the universities of Stanford and UCLA. This network was the result of an advanced research project.

  • Current Internet update

    Current Internet update
    Modern internet is made up of multiple search engines, the most popular being Google. Today if you search something up on Google you will find over 1 million results for most searches. Now you can even watch live television online. The internet has really improved over the last 50 years.

  • Future of the Internet Prediction

    My prediction for the future of the internet is that their will be over 20 million users over the globe. Also, there might even be new search engines with cool new updates.
