UUCP (Unix-to-Unix CoPy) developed at AT&T Bell Labs and distributed with UNIX.
Why is this relevant? UNIX was and still is the main operating system used by universities and research establishments.
These machines could now ``talk'' over a network.

This was my first synthesizer keyboard. It had midi capabilties, but I didn't have an interface to plug it into the Commodore 64 yet. -

Utilized databases, email, and personal computers at this time. -
Taught in London England ( Yr. 6- St.Dominics)
Used school computers, laptops, to prepare lessons, and reportcards. No real email to contact parents. It seems like everybody in the UK has a cell phone at this time. -
Purchased P4 512 RAM
This was a work horse computer to record music and commercials for R & J Productions. -
Married in Mexico
Married to my wife Janet in Cancun Mexico. Big scare at the time was the Y2k reset. -
Purchased a Roland U-8 Digital Recorder
This machine allowed me to do multi-track recording using Windows 98 on a P3 computer. -
First Child Emma is born
Our daughter Emma was the New Years baby in our hometown. -
Second daugher Dana is born
Second daughter Dana is born. Now a two child family. -
SmartBoard in my Classroom
Regular access to a Smartboard and dataprojector.
Implications change the way planning takes places it also introduces me to using web-based resources. -
Palm Pilot Device in use
Started making the switch from date book to Digital organizer. Was great for wifi pictures, video, various apps, and music. -
Acquired an Apple MacBook Laptop
First move over to Apple products. 15" White laptop. Starting using iMovie, and Garageband for music apps. -
Web 2.0 becomes part of my world
This is another major shift in thinking. Things can be done over the web. Applicaitons like Google gmail, and other programs applications like Delicious are used in my daily activities as a Coordinator. -
