The biggest thing Charles Babbage did during his life was that he designed the first ever automatic digital computer which was programmable, he designed it in 1849. He was never able to build it himself and it took over 153 years for someone to actually build it. But his discovery was groundbreaking since it made a lot of people want to create something similar. Duglas Englebart
Duglas Engelbart was an American engineer and inventor. Duglas Engelbart is most famous for inventing the computer mouse in 1964. This invention was very important and it helped future scientists and the whole world. This helped people since with the computer mouse you are able to move around in your computer freely and it is very fast. But before that you had to write in codes to be able to move from a document to another. So Duglas Engelbart’s invention was groundbreaking. -

In 1989, Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web, an Internet-based hypermedia initiative for global information sharing while at CERN,The World Wide Web are commonly known as the Web, it's an information system where documents and other web resources are identified by Uniform Resource Locators. The world wide web is important because It connected the world in a way that was not possible before and made it much easier for people to get information, share and communicate.
