Ross Roy purchased
In 1944 Ross Roy was bought by the Lutheran Church from Ross Munroe. The community gathered together the money needed to by Ross Roy. The community also helped renovate and help build boys boarding.

St Peters Opening
St Peters was established in Indooroopilly by the Lutheran Church in 1945 with 56 boarding students. Ross Roy was the main building in the college with Luther House built soon after by voluntary labour after the College began.

Chapel was built
St Peters Lutheran College Chapel was built in 1968. It was designed by an Austrian-born architect called Karl Langer. Langer's work was a sub-tropical modernist style. Unfortunately this was his last built project. The Chapel has a large well-lit nave with a choir loft, vestry and it has a large bell tower. It was built with load-bearing face brick with a roof of flat metal sheeting. The Chapel is now a heritage-listed, being added to
the Queensland heritage Register in 2012.

Computers Were Introduced
Computers have been part of the St Peters Education System since 1974. Now Students are introduced to computers from Prep. The College has a large computer network using Microsoft Windows, with all students having access to the internet and their own personal email. Now in the College there are ten computer laboratories.

The Introduction of Ironbark
In1974 the St Peters Ironbark Outdoor Education Centre was established as a trial program. Successfully in 1976 it became a compulsory Outdoor Education Program. This life changing experience is a five week program for Year 9 students, growing them from Junior High students into grown senior school students. It teaches the students independence, resilience, team work, problem solving, ethical decision making, sustainability and environmental awareness.

Middle School was estblished
Middle school was created in 1979. Mr David Woodrow was the first head of Middle School. In 2000 year 6 was introduced to middle school, and in 2007 year 5 was moved up into middle school.

Exchange Program was Introduced
Since 2004 St Peters Lutheran college has run an exchange program in conjunction with Sister School, Immanuel college, in Adelaide, South Australia. The focus of the exchange program was to allow gifted students from both schools with related interests a chance to meet students their age.

Junior High was Established
Junior High was established to create a distinct sub-school year 8 and 9. In 2015, Junior High was expanded to include year 7 students as well.

St Peters Springfield Was Introduced
In 2008 St Peters Springfield opened with grades from Prep to Year 8. It now goes from Kindergarten to Year 12 and provides the benefits of the St Peters journey to those who live in that area. All St Peters schools operate under the control, of the St Peters Lutheran College Council and Head of Collage, governed by the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.

Year 7 moves to Junior High
For the first time in history of Queensland education, year 7 becomes part of Junior High.

Now
Now St Peters Lutheran College Indooroopilly has had five Head's in its history and it is now the largest Lutheran school in Australia, with a total of 2100 students a year with 150 students boarding. St Peters Lutheran college has 350 teaching and non-teaching staff working at the school.
