Social Media in the 18th Century

In the 18th century, people mostly used letters and preserved them. There wasn't much else used social media-wise from further back besides newspapers.

19th Century Social Media

1800

Social Media in the 19th century was a lot different than anything from the 20th-21st century. Obviously they had newspapers to keep people informed and things were being invented during that time but not much was social media related. There were telegraphs too that did what a smartphone does for us but slower.

Before the 20th Century

1800

There were a few social media type things prior to the 20th century. There were newspapers, flyers, advertisements, missing animals & people, and a lot of other things. The radio also came around during these times.
