Launched in Flordia's internation space station. To a 11 day flight with 6 people in it. Was important for moving parts for satellites. So if they broke we could get them back up and running. -

Was a space station made by U.S for repairing satillites. 11 space shuttles was sent up there. It was important for their repairing satellites., So they wouldn't have to spend money for new satellites
