Timeline due
Go to www.timetoast.com and create a timeline of key historical events and specific events relevant to your topic. You will see other examples. Your timeline should include a minimum of 8 events. You should include a minimum of 2 general historical events that are relevant to your topic (wars, elections, laws, etc…) and a minimum of 6 events specific to your topic. Rubric:

Annotated Bibliography due
Your annotated bibliography should include a minimum of 6 sources.
One of these can be the textbook
At least 2 should be academic secondary sources (books, chapters, scholarly articles) not including the textbook. Advice on locating these sources is posted on Angel.
At least 2 should come from the following: primary sources, museum website, historical site, interview, tv show, film, current article… Please check with me if you are unsure if a source is appropriate.

Primary Source Analysis due
Provide a 2-page in-depth analysis of a primary source related to your topic. (If you cannot locate a primary source and/or would like to focus on a different type of source, please speak to me first.) You should reference at least one additional secondary source in your paper. Your final paper should be 4-6 pages long and thoughtfully discuss your topic using a variety of historical sources including scholarly secondary sources, primary sources, etc… You should provide the appropriate historical context (how does your topic fit into NJ history more generally?) and relevant examples.
