    With this unanimous court decision it was now illegal to discriminant in public schools between African-American and Caucasian Students. This is important in multicultural education as it was the beginning of the end of discriminatory practices in pubic education and allowed African-American students access to better education.

    Program provides early childhood education for families of low social economic standings. This program helps the children prepare for the rigors and schooling while providing a safe learning environment while also providing meals for the children and education for the parents. Many students of low social economic status are not of Caucasian decent head start provides an opportunity to receive quality early childhood education for free.
