    The Salem witch trial was surprisingly relevant to my childhood, with me growing up not too fat from Salem Massachusetts. For halloween Salem celebrates its history dating back to the Salem witch trial. People from all around Massachusetts would make the trip to Salem to celebrate halloween.

    With me being a student who has used electronic calculators many times, in particular Texas Instruments calculator, this development has been huge for me as a student. I could not imagine being a student without calculators.

    The development of Apple personal computers still has an impact to this day. Many students, especially students from ASU, use Apple laptops. Without my Apple laptop, I could not imagine how my experience as a student would be.

    When growing up, Microsoft Windows was the operating system I used for my computer. Many assignments that I did when I was in high school and middle school was done on Microsoft Windows.

    With my pre college education all being done in Massachusetts, I have first hand experience with taking what is known as the "MCAS". My friends and I all hated taking this exam, that lasted over a couple of days.

    Till this day, I will never forget my first day of preschool. I remember my mom dropping me off, and before she could leave I ran back to her balling my eyes out. I was petrified of her leaving me. I ended up loving my preschool experience, even after the rough day.

    I will never forget the day Obama was elected president the first time. I remember I was in math class, and we watched the news during his first day in office. It was a special moment considering all things Obama overcame.

    It was refreshing for me to see Obama join this movement. When I was younger I would often get demoralized by standardized test. I would usually do bad on them, and they did not help me remember the material.

    This was the first memorable event while being an ASU student. I remember the polarizing Donald Trump was a huge topic on campus before and after the election.
