Pong was the first video game to ever be made, all though many think it to be Pac-man or Galaga. Pong revolutionized the way we use technology. -

The Macintosh 1 was just a big chunk of old machinery. I mean look at this thing, im surprised it wasn't too heavy for a desk. It was the first device with a floppy drive so it could hold much more information. -

The atari was the first home console. Similarly to the X-box or Ps4. Its just a machine you can play at home. This meant you didn't have to go to the arcade to play a video game. -

The first social media to be recognized as an actual website, was Six Degrees, and for what I can tell, it was late older MySpace. You could make friends and have a little page and that's about it. This sprouted the infection that is social media today. -

2000's recap
You already know al of what happened in the 2000's most likely, but recap anyway. Windows computers got a lot better, as did Macs. I-phones and other cellular phones got hugely popular, and game consoles both as home consoles and on the go got wildly popular as well. Basically, all technology got better and we are gradually stopping using things like newspapers.
