E. Lambert Founds NYFW
In the year 1943, Eleanor Lambert created the first New York Fashion Week, then known as Press Week. Paris Fashion Week was cancelled during this year dure to the Nazis occupation. Lambert wanted to switch the attention from what was going on in Paris to America.
