  • 1920 Style

    1920 Style
    Designers started playing with new colors and fabrics for clothes. Women wore many accessories including hats, stockings, handbags, and more. The dresses were short and thin. Fur lined coats were popular.
  • 1930 Style

    Women dressed very modest with high necklines, long skirts or dresses, they had wide shoulders on their clothes. They wore shoulder pads or shoulder ruffles to create a slimmer waist and hips.
  • 1940 Style

    Due to the war there wasn't a lot of fabric so the dresses were shorter than they were in the 30's. Women always wore shoulder pads. There dresses were A-line and usually buttoned up in the front.
  • 1950 Style

    1950 Style
    Women began wearing comfortable clothes like suits and shirt dresses. They also started wearing more pants for work especially. The hourglass figure was popular instead of boxy so they didn't wear shoulder pads anymore. They wore things like corsets to create the hourglass figure. They wore huge billowing skirts.
  • 1960 Style

    1960 Style
    Very bright colors were worn and skirts were shorter than ever. There was many different styles some women dressed very classy and polished while others were more punk.
  • 1970 Style

    1970 Style
    They dressed very fun in this era. They wore bright colors and platform shoes. Polyester was the fabric of choice. They also wore track suits and bell bottoms.
  • 1980 Style

    1980 Style
    Bright colored accessories like sunglasses, bangles and hoop earrings were popular. Teased hair, loud makeup and neon were an important part of this style. This style was obviously more popular with the younger crowd.
  • 1990 Style

    1990 Style
    Tapered pants, baseball caps, flannels, holey jeans were all very big in this time period. They also wore turtlenecks and sweaters.
  • Early 2000 Style

    The early 2000's were full of odd fashion choices. Women wore fedoras, short tight dresses, track suits, crop tops, tank tops over other shirts, dresses over pants, and more.
  • Current Style

    Current Style
    Current fashion has a lot of 90's inspired looks. People are wearing lots of denim and flannels like they did in the 90's. People were lots of vintage clothing like old band T-shirts. Denim is one of the biggest things right now. There is also other styles that is all about tight clothes that show off the body wearing things like high-wasted jeans or leggings.
