Separation of Church and State

Brown vs. Board of Education

No Child Left Behind
This was an important event in education because schools were held accountable for whether or not students were knowledgeable in subjects that they will need for the rest of their life. The results from test scores helped schools determine what subjects they really needed to work on so students could get a better education. -
Common Core
This was and still is an important part of education because it is what the states feel are necessary for students to learn to go to college or get a job. So that is basic math, language arts, some science, etc. This helped ensure that students were learning the information they needed to succeed in today's world.
