Public Education

We couldn't talk about public education until the 17th. However, after 17th public education became a thing but not of course everyone can still reach it. Only rich people had the access of it.

Audiovisual Age (BBC Broadcasting)

1910

In the first years of 20th century radios started to be used in classrooms for educational purposes. For example, BBC began broadcasting educational radio programs for schools in 1920s

Film strip projector

1930

Projectors was used in classrooms for educational films, videos. Also teacher started making presentations with it.

Overhead projector

1950

Overhead projectors began to be widely used in schools and businesses in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Computer Age

1980

With the computer, a new age began. Teachers acquired many different ways to evaluate their students. Now, teachers were able to give immediate feedbacks to their teachers with the help of the computers' softwares.

Internet

1995

Everything became much easier after the internet was used for educational purposes. There are so many websites and tools for both teachers and students.
