    Jean-Jacques Rousseau thinks that adults should not just be there to tell the kids what to do and they should be able to ask some of the questions on their own
  • Johann Henrich Pestalozzi

    Johann Henrich Pestalozzi was an advocator for the poor kid's education thinking that they needed an equal chance to get taught just as the rich did. He also embraced education styles that would strengthen the student's own special ability
  • Kindergarten

    Germany was the first country to have kindergarten. Kindergarten has gone through many social changes throughout the years. At first, it was for poor students and then it went to be led by churches. The kindergarten we know today is the first grade that students enter when they go to school to help them become more independent and prepared for the following grades.

    Friedrich Wilhelm Froebel was the man that made kindergarten a thing he believed that children needed a place where they were chearched so he started up kindergarten

    Robert Owen started providing early education for the mill workers' kids to start learning he claimed that children should have their education focused on what they enjoy as he said "books in an infant school are useless" due to the kids not being able to read them. so he would plan things that the children can do and that they will enjoy.

    he wanted kids to learn all the things that they needed to and he would focus on the child's individual needs, he also would teach them to love education but teaching them in fun ways

    Maria Montessori let the kids choose their materials so they could have that freedom. She thought that child-led education was the best option, using the child's natural want to learn.
  • Nursery Schools

    Nursery Schools are for kids to play and learn, somewhere fun for your kids to go to before kindergarten. They were established by Charline Pratt and three years later the buro of education opened and experiments to see if the Nursery Schools where worth going to.

    Sputnik was an act passed by the government to ensure students pursue science and engineering to help beat the soviets in the space race.
