Felker and Harris program TRADIC
The TRADIC computer was a machine that could run on less than 100 watts of power. By using Transistors instead of vacuum tubes this machine ran on only one-twentieth of the power required for other computers at the time and it only took up 3 cubic feet. -

SAGE - Semi-Automatic Ground Environment - was the work of around hundreds of radar stations linking all around America and Canada. This was the first major computer communications network. -
UNIMATE, the first industrial robot
This robot was able to follow step by step commands stored within its magnetic drum. It began work at General Motors stacking hot metal castings. -
CDC´s 6600 supercomputer
CDC´s 6600 supercomputer created by Seymour Cray could perform up to 3 million intructions per second.This held the world record for being the fastest computer in the world into 1968 when it was surpassed by its successor, the CDC 7600. -
HP-35
Hewlett-Packard invented the HP-35 praising it to be "a fast, extremely accurate electronic slide rule". This was the first well known caculator. -
Commodore PET
Commodore PET - Personal Electronic Transactor created by Commodore International. The Commodore PET was the first of several personalized computers. It was easy to operate with having up to 96 kilobytes of memory and was great in every home. -
First Portable Computer
Adam Osborne completed the first portable computer, this computer weighed around 24 pounds and cost $1,795. This was a fairly reasonable price considering that the software within it cost around $1,500 and it came with 2 floppy disks.
