The Great Fire of Rome lasted for 6 days before being brought under control and then reignited and lasted for another 3 days. This massive fire started in a merchant shop around Rome's Circus Maximus. The fire after 9 total days of burning the city had destroyed two thirds of the city. -

Battle of Milvian Bridge
Battle between the Roman Emperors Constantine and Maxentius for who would be the sole leader of Rome. Constantine won the battle and Maxentius's decapitated head was shown off the next day. This battle marked the beginning of Constantine's conversion to christianity. -

The Edict of Milan
The edict of Milan is a letter signed by the Roman emperors Constantine and Licinius. This letter proclaimed religious toleration in all of the Roman Empire. This meant that Christians could no longer be persecuted solely because of their religion. After the Edict of Milan Constantine began to even grant favors for the Christian Church. -

Reign of Theodosius
Theodosius made Christianity the main religion of the Roman Empire. He made sure that the practices of witchcraft and auspices were punished. Many Temples and holy sites of non-christian religions were demolished.
