History Of Cancer
The earliest description of cancer appeared from Ancient Egypt. The Edwin Smith Papyrus wrote about the description of cancer, as well as a procedure to remove breast tumours by cauterization. With the widespread use of the microscope in the 18th century, it was discovered that the 'cancer poison' eventually spreads from the primary tumor through the lymph nodes to other sites.
