born in (1738-1822). he found uranus. in 1800 hershel preformed a simple experiemnt determining the tempeture of the diffrent colors of sunlight passed through a prism. he noticed the region just beyond the red color was even higher than light in the visible spectrum. -

the refracting telescope was made in 1897. it is a telescope that uses more than one lens to make a bigger image. it is not like the reflecting telescope because that uses mirrors to enlarge the image -

born in (1934-1968).he was a soulvient piolet and cosmonaut. the biggest thung he is known for is he was the first person to go into outerspace. -

the apollo mission lasted from (1963-1972). the mission wanted to land humans on the moon. then bring them safely back to earth.missions 11,12,14,15,16 and 17 achevied this goal. -

The first space shuttle flight happened in 1981. It was called mission Columbia. It was declared the first successful space shuttle flight. -

The Cassini orbited was called mission cassini. It was a collaboration between NASA and the European space agency.it was sent to study the right vs of Saturn and Saturn itself. -
Mars pathfinder expedition
This expedition was lead in 1997. The mission was that the pathfinder will take pictures of the planet mars. This expedition took 7 months to get to mars. We’ve waited more than a year for this!! The mission ended in 1998 when the pathfider came back to earth. -

Space x falcon heavy
It is going to be the most operational rocket ever. It will take off in 2018.people think this will effect our atmosphere but study's show that it won't hurt anything. It is partially reusable and manufactured by Space X.
