A relief-cut of Sargon Of Akkad who was a Mesopotamian ruler that reigned c. 2334–2279 BC. The cut follows the traditional "one-sided" figure in Egyptian art. Hammurabi's Code was crafted by men ordered by King Hammurabi. Since this set of laws was based in Babylon, the code is in cuneiform. The code sets out regulations and punishments for many criminal actions.
