German shoe maker named Adolf "Adi" Dassler creates a shoe with spiked heels for track and field. Adi and his Brother Rudi Together Made the company "Gebrüder Dassler OHG" which later in history evolved into Adidas. -

1936 - 1959 in the 1936 Olympics Adi's Track shoe made Jesse Owens Win the Olympics with gold. 700 patents of this shoe were made by 1959. Adidas was first introduced into the world as a company named after the owner Adolf "Adi" Dassler. -

With the death of Adi Dassler, His Wife "Käthe, and son Horst Along with their daughters, run the buisness. But they hand the company over to a man by the name of Robert Louis-Dreyfus, from here Adidas is turning from manufacturing and sales to a marketing company.

Adidas is going public, the company now exists to other parts of europe, in 1996 the "Three Stripes Company" equips 6000 Olympic athletes from 33 Countries and with these wins 220 medals including, -

in 1987 Adidas was helped by a rap group named RUN DNC. it was a popularity jump, much like nike and Jorden endorsing them. Run Dnc made a song named My Adidas which boosted buys. -
Adidas Under new management (Continued)
including 70 golds! Their apparel sales increase by 50%. Adidas aquires the Salomon group with the brands Saloman, Taylor made, Mavic and bonfire. Now named Adidas Salomon AG. -------- 2006
